About The Somm's Music Career

Andrew Freedman is a producer, MC, vinyl DJ, Controllerist and multi instrumentalist. His debut album 'A New House' was released under the Noctilux Collective label in 2014 alongside an album he co-produced titled 'The Foundation'.

You can not place The Somm's musical stylings in any one category. Andrews debut album was a blend of hip hop break beats, danceable house music rhythms and straight up trap music. His DJ selections are heavily influenced by the same genres. 

Andrew has performed with and opened for countless international headlining acts such as Talib Kweli (MC), Souls Of Mischief (MC), Infected Mushrooms, Rusko, Flux Pavillion, Adventure Club, NERO, Downlink, DieselBoy, Borgore and many, many others.

Andrew is keen to perform DJ sets or live music as an instrumentalist. Andrew loves to play drum and DJ sets. You may see Andrew flailing 3d axis controlled and programmed controllers in the air while performing creating unique and one of a kind remixes live. Or you may catch him spinning vinyl and scratching records. 

Andrew is a confident and charismatic performer with a decade of experience performing to small and large crowds alike. He is a personal brand as The Cannabis Sommelier so count on him sipping wine while he performs original tracks alongside his favourite selections.
